ABOUT US

What is the Soal Wellness?

Soal Wellness is a revolutionary wellness practice that aims to change the way people access, advance, and care for their health.

What Makes Us Different?

At Soal Wellness, we’re not just another medical practice that wants to put a bandaid on your symptoms. Nor are you just another nameless client for us to quickly push through the door.

While traditional medicine and medication have their place, this approach often fails to address the root cause of the health problem and simply masks the symptoms. Instead of quick fixes or one size fits all solutions, we use functional medicine and a root cause approach to optimize health and tackle frustrating weight problems.

We emphasize three pillars of wellness: nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset, to help our clients reach their health goals and stay there.

Let's Do this together

Our goal is simple: to help you achieve yours. Whether your goal is to lose weight, combat illness, increase your sports performance, or improve your overall health and well-being, we’re here to help. We begin with a comprehensive and in-depth evaluation, then customize a sustainable plan to meet your individual needs and goals. Every new client evaluation includes a comprehensive health exam. This exam includes an assessment of your personal and family history, current health concerns and symptoms, genetics, medications, supplements, and nutrition. We consider your current lifestyle and food preference and utilize biometric and body scan technology combined with extensive lab tests, including blood work and hormone testing. While we treat all conditions, our specialties include medical weight loss, performance nutrition, and functional medicine.

Our Three Pillars of Wellness

When it comes to losing weight, improving sports performance, battling illness, or maintaining a healthy lifestyle, you need to focus on all aspects of your life. At Soal Wellness, we take a multifaceted approach to wellness that focuses on nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset.

  • Nutrition – Eating a well-balanced diet helps you feel better and reach your goals of living a long, fulfilling life. You can exercise as much as you want, but without fueling your body with the right ingredients, you won’t achieve the body or health you dream of.
  • Lifestyle – Health goes beyond what you put in your body, but also how you spend your time. Exercise and fitness are essential, but so are rest and relaxation because our bodies need adequate sleep to recharge and fight illness and stress.
  • Mindset – Possibly the most important and overlooked part of overall health is our mindset. It is difficult to feel good and work toward goals if you’re not in a good place mentally. Fighting off that nagging self-doubt that you’re not capable enough to accomplish all you want, can be detrimental to your success.

You deserve to feel great. I’m here to help.

I believe that all people can heal and improve their health and well-being when given the proper tools. The most potent and effective medicines are often not medicine but rather a diet, lifestyle, and environment change that provide the foundation for healing and restoration within the body—allowing a natural and restorative process to occur.

Of course, we do recognize that there is a time for medication and supplements. However, the significant and most noticeable results often are found when a patient finally eats a nutritious diet and improves lifestyle and environmental factors.

About Stephanie

Stephanie is a registered dietitian nutritionist with more than 35 years of experience in clinical practice. Stephanie is skilled in functional medicine, specializing in wellness, weight loss, sports performance, and chronic disease management.

Stephanie believes that each person is unique and that their health story is critical to their health and wellness journey. You are not your diagnosis, abnormal lab values, or symptoms.

She is adamant that diets don’t work. Instead of starting her patients on a diet, she meets them where they are in their journey. She helps them cut through the “nutrition” noise, providing expertise and personalized tools to change the story and help them live their best life free of chronic dieting and stressful eating habits.

Her joy in life is found with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren. She loves yoga, hiking, road trips, and taking in the beauty of Arizona with Arnold, her husband of 40 years.

Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Northern Arizona University and a Master of Arts from Webster University.
